How Philly Roof Decks works
Philly Roof Decks is a free referral service for Philadelphia homeowners. We are not a builder, roofer or design firm, and we never pretend to be one.
What we do
- You fill out the form with your ZIP code and a short description of the project.
- We pass your request to an independent Philadelphia contractor who builds or repairs roof decks in your area.
- The contractor contacts you, looks at the roof, and gives you a quote. Whether to hire them is up to you.
Disclosure
- We are not a contractor. We don’t design, perform, supervise or guarantee any work. The contractor you hire is solely responsible for their work, pricing, permits, licensing and insurance.
- We may be paid by contractors for referrals. That never costs you anything extra through us.
- We are not affiliated with the City of Philadelphia, L&I, or the Historical Commission. You can contact the City directly about zoning, permits or historic review.
- Verify before you hire. Ask for the contractor’s Philadelphia Contractor License or Pennsylvania home improvement registration, and proof of insurance. Confirm who will pull the permits and who stamps any structural drawings.
About our guides
Our guides summarize the Philadelphia Zoning Code, L&I and Historical Commission material and published cost surveys, and link to every source. Each page shows when it was last checked. Rules and prices change, so confirm with the source. Spot an error? Email [email protected].
